Our Landry cousins in New Brunswick, L'Association Des Landry D'Amérique Inc. are organizing a Landry family reunion in Caraquet, New Brunswick on July 28 and 29, 2001. Plans are to have it at the Louis-Mailloux High School in Caraquet. The reunion will begin by a formal meeting the Saturday afternoon followed by a meal and a social night with a live music band. The main event of this night will be the presentation of the genealogic dictionary of the Alexis Landry family descendants, "Tome I", which have been realized by Paul Landry. Paul is originally from Pont-Landry, N.B. The Sunday morning there will be a mass at the Saint-Anne du Bocage Shrine, site where Alexis Landry settled with his family after the Acadian deportation of 1755 and became one of the founders of the town of Caraquet. We will close the reunion with a brunch after the mass. We have available: T-Shirts with the Landry Family Coat of arms in sizes: medium, large and extra-large priced at only $15.00, tax included. Pins representing the Landry Family Coat or arms at $5.00 each, tax included. Handling charges per order: $3.00. Please don't forget your subscription is our only means of support. The fee is only $7.00 annually.
